Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Downtown Fort Worth is only 17.5 miles by ground transportation from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. This is the second-busiest airport in the nation, with non-stop service to more than 160 cities worldwide and over 1,100 flights daily.
The Trinity Railway Express The Trinity Railway Express provides transportation between Fort Worth and Dallas. In Fort Worth, you can catch the TRE at the Intermodal Transportation Center at Ninth and Jones streets. Using TRE and the T bus system can get you where you want to go quickly and inexpensively.
The T Bus Service The Fort Worth Transportation Authority provides bus service throughout the city. In the downtown area, buses that are red, white, and blue offer free rides.
Amtrak Fort Worth is the hub of the south central corridor for The Texas Eagle, which links San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth and Little Rock, Arkansas. High-speed rail service also links Tulsa, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, and Chicago.
